David 'Hilly' Hill

Hilly started working in the media in 1984, beginning his illustrious career as the Evening announcer on 4BU in Bundaberg. Soon realising that as an announcer, he made a very good sales person, he was lured by the bright city lights of Brisbane (anything is bright compared to Bundaberg!). His ability to understand his client's needs quickly catapulted him through to a Sales Manager position with 4KQ and then on to WS FM in Sydney. Over a 4 year period, he recruited, trained and managed a group of highly successful direct account managers before accepting a 12 month contract with 2CH & 2GB.

At the conclusion of this commitment in July 2000, Hilly got tired of saying to his clients "Sorry, I can only talk to you about 1 radio station" when he knew he could offer a whole lot more. The only logical step was to commit himself completely to growing his clients businesses and Hills Media & Design was born.

The Important Stuff -
Hilly's passions in life are - his Family, Golf and his beloved Broncos (not necessarily in order) He is married to Deb and between them they have 5 children. 3 from David's first marriage, 1 from Deb's and 1 together. If that wasn't enough to keep him busy, Hilly is a frustrated chef who spends his weekends trying to avoid handyman jobs by hiding in the kitchen.
